One Week Game Spring 07
Our one week competition this year was later in the semester so many students were busy with tests, but we did manage to get 4 fun entries for this years comptition. Each game was completed in less than a week, several in only a few hours with the help of the TAGD Oneweek Game Framework available in the File Archive.
Thingavore!
TAGD's 4th BigGame project, this game is a 2D puzzle game where you control a thingavore that must use and become different objects to navigate through a physical world and get to the exit.

One Week Game Spring 06
We held our one week game competition again and had many good entries. Contestants came up with creative gameplay ideas to create simple yet fun games that were completed within the one week deadline.
...and then the world was consumed by monsters
TAGD's 3rd BigGame Project, monsters is a 3D Tactical Hack n' Slash game. You are the last human left who must fight to survive as monsters have overrun the Earth. A unique and innovative control scheme, the ability to revive and control the corpses of dead monsters, and lots of quality art and animation created by our team of artists will make this game a good competitor in the IGF Student Showcase competition this fall.

Operation:Super Hardcore
During the first weeks of Summer 2005 TAGD got a jumpstart on the next BigGame project by camping out in a lab in Bright for 2 weeks for some hardcore game development. Many lines of code, 3D models, and games of Super Smash Brothers later the majority of the framework for the game was complete. Be sure to check out the O:SHc video for more info.

Botzilla Competition 05
Several members took up the challenge of programming an AI to control a monster whose job it is to rampage through a city and destroy all opponents. Danny's simple minded AI(it spun in circles) won in the end. More information can be found here.
Ninjas Vs Ninjas
Ninjas Vs Ninjas is a multiplayer FPS game that was made over the course of 2 months by TAGD in order to submit it to the Student Showcase for the Independent Games Festival. We ran right up to the deadline and didn't exactly finish the game, which explains the unfinished state of it, but creating a functioning multiplayer game in that short of a timeframe is no easy task.

DX Game Tutorials
During the Summer of 2004 TAGD held a series of tutorials written by Victor Palmer with the goal of teaching how to develop 3D games using DirectX. Several small games were produced and many people enhanced their 3D programming skills.
One Week Game 04
The One Week Game Competition had the goal of seeing who could make the best game with only a week of development time. Several quality games were produced, but a multiplayer 3D overhead pacman style shooter was picked as the winner.
Space Game
Space Game was the original large scale project taken up by TAGD and has become legendary as an example of how not to run a large scale project. Even though no playable game was actually produced, many valueable lessons were learned. The idea for the game originally is thought to have been 3D chess in space, although that is currently up for debate.
